recognizing your many sides

you probably don’t act the same way in every situation

different situations bring out different personas

some relaxed, some aggressive

this isn’t a flaw, but rather a feature of adaptability

a survival mechanism that has allowed humans to prosper over millennia

mindfulness is recognizing the reaction that surfaces in a given moment

without awareness, reaction becomes the automatic habit

if the habit isn’t intentionally wired,

a survival psyche is likely in the driver’s seat


growth is change and change is uncomfortable

this is an ongoing practice and i can share what i’ve learned so far

resilience is realized through an adaptable nature

How a mindfulness practice can be applied to design, internal company conference


Public speaking isn’t in the comfort zone of many, myself included. My approach is to speak about my own lived experiences and to recognize (and breathe through) the signals of fear and anxiety my body sends me. Speaking is embodying clear communication signals through mind and body.

Whether it is presenting design work or advocating for areas of focus, clear communication is a fundamental aspect of UX.
