supple strength, hands firm yet yielding

qi-gong is a form of Chinese internal martial arts

the practice builds stamina and trains breath

the movements are slow and intentional

there is particular attention to the lower dantian

(just below the navel, it’s a storehouse of energy in the body)

when i’m on the pottery wheel, i bring awareness to this area to strengthen my trunk

steady breath, body, mind


i wonder what kind of effect a 2 minute mindful breathing exercise would have on morning meetings?
