beholding the mind

 

everything you experience is filtered through your (heart)mind

being aware of feelings and thoughts helps us tune in to the mind’s state

with this awareness, we can notice how mind state colours thoughts (and actions)


the importance of practice…

a consistent meditation practice allows one to observe change over time

and when we observe our (heart)mind

we witness: our hearts and minds are also subject to change

to acknowledge this nature is to see reality as it is


after many years in design, i’ve learned to treat it as a practice

i readily seek ways to refine and get better

this includes bringing design into other parts of my life, and vice versa

design begins with empathy and is sustained by iteration

meditation is tuning into yourself and is the original iterative practice

i look forward to continue growing and am happy to share what i’ve learned so far
